El Salvador is located in Central America, in the thin thread between North and South America. It has a southern coast with the Pacific Ocean Some of its neighbours are Guatemala and Honduras. Their climate is mostly tropical having a rainy season from May to September and a dry season throughout the rest of the year. The national population is of 5.75 million and the spoken language is Spanish. It is one of the most volcanic countries in the world, having 22 volcanoes in an area the size of Israel (that is approximately 21,000 km2).

How do you structure your prices?

It is important for us to structure our costs in order to build a price as opposed to selling our products at a “market price”. In order to do this we take into account the payment to each community, the financing cost, the logistic cost, processing, taxes and profit for us as a company. Only after taking all of this into account can we offer a price to the customer without playing a “market price” game.

In order to make sure our products are as sustainable as possible, we use at least 48% of the price for agricultural costs, paying the communities, the farmers and the harvest.

Do you contract manufacture other products?

We can process raw materials for other companies under contract. If you are interested in producing a particular ingredient for your catalogue and would like to see if this would be possible for us to manufacture for you. Please don’t hesitate to ask us your particular interest and we will gladly support you. El Salvador is a very fertile country where almost anything will grow and our installations are ready for anything from distillation to extraction and fractioning.

How do you do your quality control?

After an olfactive analysis, we outsource our quality control to our partners in France in order to verify the Chromatographic profiles of our products. Likewise, for each batch we check the optical rotation, the specific gravity and the refractive index of the product in question.

Are your products food grade?

Our products are food grade. If you are in need of a specific certification or documentation for your geographic region or use, we would be glad to look into it.

What languages are spoken in your offices?
